Our Sales & Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing Bowditch Navigation! We’re committed to offering quality products and excellent service. To help ensure transparency and consistency, we’ve outlined our sales policy below.

1. General Policy

We’re here to help you make informed choices. While most purchases are non-refundable (all sales are final), we’re committed to addressing any issues with products that are faulty or not as described—in line with consumer protection laws in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Europe, and Australia. If that happens, we’ll offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate. Restocking fees may apply.

2. Bowditch-Manufactured Goods

​

If you change your mind about new, unused Bowditch-manufactured products, you may return them within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping costs).

​

3. Computers

​

Due to the custom-built nature of many of the laptops and tablets we sell and the need to prepay our suppliers, computer sales are generally final. If you encounter a technical issue or defect, please contact us immediately so we can assist. We act as your agent in facilitating warranty claims.

4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

​

Some PPE—such as helmets, flotation devices, and radio beacons—may be customized with your pilot ID or registered for you. For safety and compliance reasons, these items are generally non-refundable once customized or used.

 

If your PPE hasn’t been customized, worn, or used, please get in touch with us to discuss whether it may be eligible for return.

 

5. Digital Products

 

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned,” all digital sales are final. This includes:

 

  • Software or data downloads

  • Online courses, webinars, and subscriptions

  • Membership fees

However, if you have an issue accessing or using your digital product, we will work with you to resolve it.

6. Services

​

Once a service is delivered—such as consulting, training, or event access—it is considered complete and non-refundable. If you are unhappy for any reason, please get in touch with us. We value your feedback and will do our best to make things right.

 

7. Order Cancellations

​

Most purchases cannot be canceled once placed, especially customized or time-sensitive items for which we have already incurred significant expenses. Please double-check your order before signing a quote. If you believe there’s been a mistake, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to help.

8. Technical Issues

​

Are you having trouble with a digital product? If so, let us know within 14 days of purchase, and we’ll make every effort to help you access and enjoy your product.
